Le travail de conception s’est concentré sur une transformation en profondeur des pièces de vie et de la suite parentale. L’enjeu principal : réorganiser les volumes pour gagner en fluidité, en lumière et en confort d’usage. Certaines zones de circulation, auparavant trop vastes ou peu fonctionnelles, ont été redessinées afin de restituer des mètres carrés utiles.

L’une des transformations majeures concerne la cuisine, autrefois à l’avant de la maison. Elle a été déplacée côté jardin, dans l’ancienne salle à manger, pour profiter pleinement de la lumière naturelle et s’ouvrir sur les espaces de vie. Pensée comme une cuisine familiale, généreuse et chaleureuse, elle accueille un aménagement sur mesure et se prolonge visuellement par une verrière en bois avec portes à la française, qui la relie à la salle à manger.

Celle-ci, modulable, s’adapte aux grandes tablées comme aux repas du quotidien. Une bibliothèque sur mesure y a été intégrée, enveloppant un poêle à granulés dans une composition sobre et chaleureuse, où chaque détail a été dessiné pour dialoguer avec les matières nobles du projet.

In Courbevoie, the Marne project is the story of a partial yet ambitious renovation: the transformation of the main floor of a family home, entirely reimagined to meet the demands of daily life with elegance and coherence.

The design focused on reshaping the living spaces and the parents’ suite, with a clear objective—to optimize flow, natural light, and functionality. Formerly oversized or underused, circulation areas were refined to recover usable square meters and better serve the home’s daily rhythm.

One of the most significant transformations is the kitchen. Originally located at the front of the house, it was relocated to the garden side, into what used to be the dining room. Bathed in light and open to the rest of the living area, this new kitchen becomes the heart of the home: warm, spacious, and built for family life. A bespoke wood-framed glass partition with classic French doors connects it seamlessly to the adjacent dining space.

Designed to be flexible, the dining room adapts to everyday use as well as larger gatherings. A custom-built bookcase anchors the space and elegantly integrates a pellet stove, bringing structure and softness in a palette of noble materials.

Le salon, spacieux et traversant, privilégie la circulation et les volumes libres. Dans des tonalités vert sauge, il mêle sobriété et confort, pour une atmosphère à la fois apaisée et vivante.

Enfin, la chambre parentale a été entièrement repensée pour offrir un espace à part, calme et lumineux. La salle de bain attenante accueille une grande douche, un linéaire de meuble vasque, et en crédence, un damier de zellige beige et blanc qui apporte une touche artisanale subtile.

The living room, airy and expansive, favors open circulation and visual calm. Dressed in soft sage tones, it offers a serene yet welcoming atmosphere—perfect for relaxing or hosting.

The primary bedroom was also fully redesigned to create a peaceful, light-filled retreat. The adjoining bathroom now features a spacious walk-in shower, an extended vanity, and a delicate beige-and-white zellige checkerboard backsplash that adds a quiet artisanal charm.
