Dans cette maison de 47 m² située en Île-de-France, tout était là : un jardin, de belles ouvertures, des volumes cloisonnés mais pleins de potentiel. Ce que les clients recherchaient, ce n’était pas simplement une rénovation esthétique, mais une manière de faire dialoguer les espaces entre eux. De retrouver une fluidité, une cohérence, une logique qui accompagne le quotidien.

In this 47 sqm house just outside Paris, the essentials were already there: a garden, generous natural light, and well-defined spaces full of potential. What the clients were seeking wasn’t just a more beautiful home—it was a way to bring coherence and flow back into their daily life. Nous avons restructuré l’ensemble du rez-de-chaussée pour créer un fil conducteur, à la fois visuel et fonctionnel. Chaque pièce s’inscrit désormais dans une continuité douce, ponctuée de repères forts : une bibliothèque bleu orage, conçue sur mesure pour structurer le salon et capter le regard. Une banquette dinatoire dessinée pour accueillir, épouser les lignes de la salle à manger, avec ses coussins aux textures sablées et quelques touches de terracotta qui réchauffent l’ensemble.

We restructured the entire ground floor to create a guiding thread — both visual and functional. Each room now flows into the next with quiet continuity, punctuated by bold, intentional elements: a stormy blue custom bookcase shapes the living room and naturally draws the eye. A built-in dining banquette, designed to follow the lines of the space, is dressed in sand-textured cushions, warmed by terracotta-toned fabrics that add depth and softness.

Le sol, en parquet massif de chêne clair, apporte une base lumineuse et naturelle à tout l’espace. Dans le salon, un canapé en lainage texturé renforce cette sensation de confort feutré, pensé pour les moments calmes comme pour les échanges conviviaux.

Le bureau, souvent relégué au second plan dans les petites surfaces, a ici été pensé comme un poste de travail à part entière, discret et fluide, intégré dans l’architecture, avec des rangements sur mesure et une attention particulière portée à la lumière.

Underfoot, a light oak solid wood floor sets a warm, natural foundation throughout. In the living area, a textured wool sofa adds to the sense of gentle comfort — a space equally suited for quiet moments and convivial gatherings.

The home office, often overlooked in smaller homes, was here treated as a true living space. Thoughtfully integrated into the architecture, it includes custom joinery and has been carefully positioned to benefit from the natural light — both discreet and fully functional.

Et puis la cuisine, où le charme opère doucement. Un vert sauge velouté, rehaussé de laiton brossé, évoque un esprit de maison de famille. Les façades à cadre, le plan de travail en bois massif, et la crédence à l’effet carreaux de cimentapportent un équilibre subtil entre authenticité et douceur.

Ce projet, c’est celui de l’équilibre entre fonctionnalité et émotion, entre confort et caractère. Un lieu de vie pensé sur mesure, où chaque détail raconte quelque chose des usages, du rythme de vie, et des goûts de ses habitants.

And then, the kitchen — where charm reveals itself gradually. We opted for a velvety sage green, lifted by touches of brushed brass, in the spirit of a timeless family home. Framed cabinetry, a solid wood countertop, and a cement tile–style backsplash ground the space with authenticity and ease.

This project is all about finding the balance between function and emotion, comfort and character. A made-to-measure home, where every detail tells something of its inhabitants — their rhythms, their needs, and their sense of beauty.
